BFRAIL48

Special Concerns:
Care should be taken to prevent contact with any overhead obstructions.

Place base on a level even surface to provide the most stable flag.
Flag stands on uneven or unleveled surfaces may tip over.

Setup Instructions

This first part of the setup instructions is for the GiantPole (BIGFT) system.
Setup instructions for the BIGFT and LTLFT are similar.
The LTLFT was used in these instructions because it's smaller size allowed
us to photograph it in our indoors studio.

Position the base and fill with water.

Close the filler cap and place the Support Legs onto the base.
Each leg will fit into a corresponding hole.

Secure each Support Leg with the Leg Clips as shown above.
Repeat for all support legs

Insert the Telescopic Pole through the support legs and into the base

The rail kit for the single and double sided displays are the same.
The 2nd rail is included for use on the 2nd side (back) of the system, but is not required for single sided use.
To increase the appearance of the single sided display, this rail can be removed with a Philips screwdriver.

Position the U channel over the top of the telescopic pole.
Place the two washers on top and insert the thumb screw provided
with the GiantPole (BIGFT) Display. Tighten until snug.

The snap rails lift up to open and snap close as shown above.

Open the top snap rail and position the banner inside.
Close the snap rail when the banner is positioned correctly.
Repeat for the 2nd side if necessary.
Be careful of fingers as the snap rail does close fairly quickly.
Because of the size of the banner, an assistant or helper may be required to position the banner correctly.

Raise the first two sections of the telescopic pole to bring the banner off the ground.

Check for overhead obstructions before raising your flagpole.
Raise the Telescopic Pole starting with the top section.
The release button will pop out securing each section as it is fully raised.

Attach one of the remaining snap rails to the bottom of the banner using the same procedure as the top.
Raise the final section of the telescopic pole.

To lower flag depress the release button and carefully allow the telescopic pole to collapse.
Take care not to allow the flag support arm to come in contact with anything or anyone.
Do not allow the pole to collapse uncontrolled.
