| Replacement
graphics are a great way to extend the life of many of our banner
stands. While replacement graphics are not available for all of our
stands, they are available for many of them. Replacing graphics can
be as simple as swapping out your banner during normal setup. Other
stands require a little bit of time to replace the graphic. Replacement
instructions are linked to from the replacement graphic page where
applicable.
Vinyl banners are printed using an eco-solvent based inkjet printer.
Inkjet printing large format banners done with a machine that functions
is a similar fashion to a desktop inkjet printer. A print head is
passed over the material repeatedly. During each pass a small amount
of ink is applied to the banner material. The quality of the print
is determined by the number of passes and the capabilities of the
printer. An eco-solvent based inkjet printer allows the ink to penetrate
the material's surface. This process creates a much more durable
print when compared to standard inkjet printing. Because the ink
penetrates the surface of the material, scratching of the banner
is much more difficult. This reduces the cost of our banners, because
a laminate is not necessary.
Please keep in mind that the printed graphics may be the majority
of the cost of a complete banner stand display. The printed graphic
can cost as much as four times the cost of the stand. For this reason
it may worth keeping the original stand and purchase a new stand.
All the banner stands we sell with printed graphics come with the
graphic installed. This saves time and ensures that the stand assembled
properly.
